"Currently working on trying to make a Me/W that uses a hammer with Magehunter Smash and anti-caster skills. I know it sounds a little crazy and like it might not work."

I'll give you the same advice my grandmother used to give me - If it sounds crazy in your head....it's definitely crazy out loud. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 02:32, 29 December 2009
I just wish I could playtest the build to work on it --Lord Mattos 02:35, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
Set up a sandbox page. You can do whatever you want with builds in the namespace. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 02:40, 29 December 2009
I'm kind of new to wikis, how would I do that? --Lord Mattos 02:48, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
Here you go. User:Lord Mattos/Sandbox. Try practicing with the wikicode first before you get into too much :D Karate KJ for sig Jesus 02:57, 29 December 2009
Thanks. And I think that it would work better with Skull Crack and another KD from Hammer Mastery. --Lord Mattos 03:25, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
Honestly, putting a 60 armor character on the frontline is probably a bad idea. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 03:28, 29 December 2009
Yeah, it would probably be better to make it a W/Me, but that would decrease casting power. And he would also be able to switch between frontline and midline. --Lord Mattos 03:46, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
That's called linebacking....and if you're running a hammer, you really shouldn't be doing that much. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 04:00, 29 December 2009
Ok, I guess he would use spells to neutralize before running up to attack. --Lord Mattos 04:35, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
Can you look at the build? --Lord Mattos 04:40, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
I just took a look at it, and to be perfectly honest, it's not very good. I could recommend some things to you, though. First, you need an IAS (increased attack speed skill) with a hammer. Most people used Flail Flail + Enraging Charge Enraging Charge (IMS to cancel-stance). Second, your warrior will not be able to use that many energy skills. Even with a zealous weapon and a staff to weapon swap with, you'll run out rather quickly (even with Power Drain). Third, I have seen W/Me interrupt hammer warriors do really well, and you could probably make it work, but not with those skills. I would really recommend that you look up knock-locking or quarter knocking. When used with just a few interrupts (like Power Drain and/or Leech Signet), a warrior can pretty much completely disable an enemy for a while. Karate KJ for sig Jesus 18:09, 29 December 2009
Ok, thanks, ill look into that. --Lord Mattos 18:17, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
