This build uses a Body Block with 6 Spirits and volley to quickly deliver damage. The volleys carry Sight Beyond Sight to prevent blind. Each of the three volleys have Great Dwarf Weapon thus leading to multiple Knock Downs. The Communing Protection also carries Earthbind to increase Knock Down duration at the same time supplying an umbrella of protection. The 3 second Knock Downs, Body Block, Communing Protection, and two "YMLD" help prevent foes from reaching the BiP Nec.


Key concepts:

  • Low Maintenance for Attackers
  • Spirits are mobile and quick to replace
  • Volleys maintains Spirit's Strength only once every 70 seconds and one spirit or ward.
  • No need to reapply weapon spells, preparations, multiple enchantments, cast hexes, etc.
  • Attack buff "I am the Strongest!" is instant.
  • Volleys are able to almost instantly engage in combat at any time
  • Damage Prevention rather than Strong Heals
  • Reduces risk of spike death
  • Prevention and protection is instant and covers everyone
  • Heals needed are generally small
  • Less need for health recovery allows for more time in hex and condition removal
  • Use a BiP to Abuse Energy
  • Less need for individual Energy Management, thus more flexibility of skills
  • Every team member contributes to protecting the BiP
  • Do not depend on Hexes and Conditions
  • Allows for more universalism
  • A the best Defense is a good Offence
  • Three second Knock downs interrupt, snare, prevents skill activation
  • The quicker the kills, the less to damage taken
  • No Melee, all Ranged attacks and Spells
  • Much less need to balance defense and offence in one bar
  • Quick target switching
  • Less damage taken
  • Can almost ignore snares
  • When your melee and theres AoE at the foe's location then you either have to take the hit or be useless
  • Easier to retreat if something goes wrong

  • Pull with longbow
  • Maintain all spirits.
  • Use Armor of Unfeeling and Spirit Siphon as often as possible.
  • Use Painful Bond often.

  • Body Block!
  • Massive Damage with Spirits


Favorable Volley

Brambles Volley

  • Replace Brambles and Summon Spirits with:
(Raise Spawning and Marksmanship to 12/12)
  • Pain Inverter (areas where a lot of foes have AoE)
  • Asuran Scan (for difficult bosses)
  • "By Ural's Hammer!" (if don't like carrying a spirit around)
  • Technobabble (areas with lots of casters)
  • "You Move Like a Dwarf!" (assist protecting the BiP)
And
  • Mend Body Soul (areas with lots of conditions)
  • Flesh of My Flesh

  • Heal and remove all conditions

Uunyielding Aura Monk

  • Maintaining Unyielding Aura may be useful for quick resurrection
  • Remove all hexes
  • Heal
  • Use "You Move Like a Dwarf!" on enemies before they reach the Blood is Power Necro

Your Purpose

  • Hex Removal
  • Instant resurrection
  • Assist Heal
  • Snare Enemies which get into the backline


Communing Protection

  • Make sure you are under the effect of Soul Twisting before making any spirits

  • Keep the party alive as the primary defense
  • Turn all KDs into 3 second KDs

Usage

  • Maintain Great Dwarf Weapon on Brambles Volley
  • Maintain Awaken Blood on self
  • Maintain Blood is Power on all players except self and the SoS Body Block
  • Use "You Move Like a Dwarf!" on enemies attempting to kill you
  • Use Order of Pain when you can
  • Barbs and Weapon Armor on Bosses or Boss-like foes

Your Purpose

  • Maintaining Great Dwarf Weapon!
  • Supplying energy to the rest of the team
  • Support Physical Damage


Notes

  • SoS Body Block is the only one in the frontline
  • The 3 Volleys are midline
  • Restoration Rit and Monk is backline
  • Communing Rit and Bip is far backline, spirits have protection far range
