When he explains how to use the build he doesn't mention using Mist Form...

- Stop making Raptor builds, it's annoying and pointless now, since there are plenty of them. —

Interrupts. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 16:17, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- You cast Stoneflesh or whatever its called, then Glyph and run into the cave. Once Glyph runs out, use Mist form. No interrupts. --
16:33, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- Say wut? I thought mistform negated the damage, but all the rest still happens, eg, the interrupts? --Sazzy 17:09, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- Magnetic Aura.--
17:19, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- Not exactly failsafe with that many raptors hitting you but it will do i guess --Sazzy 17:51, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- I already went over this on the SS raptor farmer. With that one, you will probably get interrupted through blind. With this one, which has a 250% better chance of being interrupted then blind, ull still get interrupted more. Try again Crossfire. ---

Why deos the build state something about /A farmers. E/Me is by far the best. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 18:25, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Shadow_Form | HA FUCKING HA!!! LOL--
18:39, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- Yeah... I dont like the E/A SF farmers. If u take too long u die. I prefer to use Build:E/Me Raptor Farm except with Glyph of Renewal instead of WaF and Mental Block instead of Magnetic Aura. So wut? ---
Ressmonkey (talk) 18:44, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- (EC)meh, I agreed on adding signet of disenchant and hexbreaker in uw as that completely fucked up the economy, but wrecking SF completely was a bit overboard. (solo green farm etc) --Sazzy 18:45, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- Those fuckers, they nerfed shadow form... ---

[edit] It works for sure now
Cant be interrupted, energy is GREATLY managed. Like each spell u cast you gain like 30 energy ^^, and you still farm the boss. 5-5-5 material?-- 19:21, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
- Can Armor of Mist be exchanged for EBSoH? Or do you absolutely need the IMS and armor? Otherwise, it looks very sexy, tbh. ــмıкεнaшк 20:55, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

I got a Turtle shell longbow, 2 saurian bones and a Gold scroll from my first Youtube run. Im uploading the video now. Gotta take a few minutes before they actually allow the video on youtube.-- 21:30, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Glyph of Sacrifice
Works better than Glyph of ele power imo. Use it RIGHT before you use mist form. The original concept makes you take some damage before putting up mist form. Discuss please.-- 09:25, 5 July 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Apologies
Hey sorry I edited this post a couple days ago without signing up... and then read the rules about not changing other peoples posts >.<
The line changed was: A staff with +30 health +5 health, a staff with +60 health, and 20% enchantments.
I assumed you ment: A staff with +30hp +5 energy or +60hp staff, and an additional 20%enchant staff.
--PuneY 09:56, 5 July 2008 (EDT)
- i don't think a staff can have +60 health (+30 prefix, +30 suffix) and a 20% longer enchant mod :P, which is why i suggested the alternate weapon set, but the +30 +5nrg one can... so long as the +5 nrg is the inscription and not the suffix. - good build btw :D

say 12+1+1 earth, shouldn't it be 12+1+3? ICYFIFTYFIVE 22:36, 19 July 2008 (EDT)
- And now it's 11+1+2? Err... there's more then enough time to aggro and cast everything with only 10 water magic + GoEP or 12 water and Glyph of Sac, so why is everything in water? ICYFIFTYFIVE 18:30, 20 July 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Heroes
Set Gwen (or Norgu) up with this build, and flag them at the beginning for an increased run time of approximately 3-5 seconds, as well as a safer run (via Cautery Signet) by negating most of the effects of Rekoff's Twisting Jaws, at the cost of half the gold (no drops, just gold)
- It affects drops. ---
Ressmonkey (talk) 18:47, 20 July 2008 (EDT)
yup, i prefer mist form to stoneflesh/armor of earth/ etc, i use this to clear the cave in 2.5min.. they dont break aggro [: oh guess what, I failed trying to make the build again... could someone help me fix it? HareeMuh 17:32, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
- Make sure to leave a space between "build" and "prof", and there can't be any spaces in the names of the attributes. ــмıкεнaшк 17:36, 12 October 2008 (EDT)
[edit] battle standard
channeling should be swapped for battle standard of honour, energy isnt that much of a problem as you can get energy air of superiority.Lodgeinator 09:18, 27 October 2008 (EDT)
- Mantra of Resolve screws ur energy. ---
Ressmonkey (talk) 15:45, 27 October 2008 (EDT)
- not realy if you start with 70 energy(easy with energy storage and edification) then you can compleat the run each time with no energy problemsLodgeinator 09:45, 31 October 2008 (EDT).
- No... Mist Form doesnt stop the effects of attacks, just the damage. You will lose 16-32 energy every time u use a 1 sec cast skill because of manta of resolve. ---
Ressmonkey (talk) 21:05, 31 October 2008 (EDT)
- but magnetic aura can block disrupting so you wont lose as much energy as that, try it it works.Lodgeinator 08:04, 2 November 2008 (EST)
- Can people test the build without channeling as the energy it gives isnt needed(far more effective to get more damage eg ebon battle standard).Lodgeinator 09:59, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Faster Variant for People with max titles
- Or close to max titles.. r9+ Asuran at least; others are optional.
- Note: Activating Mist form 1/2 late ish will usually drop your HP enough to have a 20s long "By Ural's Hammer!"
- Usage:
- Activate Mantra of Resolve
- Walk to cave
- Cast Mindbender
- Aggro by looping along the left side of the big rock in the centre
- Run towards rekoff
- As soon as you're in range (or mindbender is about to run out) cast Mist Form
- Magnetic Aura --> Channeling --> EBSoH --> Sliver Armor & "BUH!"
- If Rekoff magically ends your mantra with wild strike, be sure to reapply it in time
- When Rekoff dies, start your chain again, starting with mindbender to halve the casting time of your whole chain
- Note: If you take Intensity over BUH! make sure to cast it before sliver armor, as it will often not cast in time of rekoff dying with high ranks in the Ebon Vanguard rank
- enjoi :* ICYFIFTYFIVE 13:05, 7 December 2008 (EST)
- I'm using similar build but without Magnetic Aura which I think is needless. I prefer using AoS than MA, thanks to AoS I can keep all skills active almost all the time, regardless of Rekoff death which not always occur before SA ends. Weapons i use: spear with 20% ench and +5e insc, water focus with 20% HCT and +15e/-1e insc.

- MoR->Channeling->AoS->AoM->aggro raptors->MF->SA->EBSoH->"BUH"->keeping all skills active. I have 101 energy so i don't have any problems with energy management. One run (28-40 raptors) takes me 70-90 seconds. Failure rate: very close to 0% ;). 83.7.12.126 18:06, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Question
Sorry if i'm being thick but i often see people looking for leechers during the raptor farm and i was wondering what the advantage of it was?195.137.63.16 17:14, 3 January 2009 (EST)
- There is no advantage. People tend to think the drops are increased, but they arent. ---
Ressmonkey (talk) 09:30, 4 January 2009 (EST)
- Actually youre wrong. Drops are actually increased, but your party member gets no drops for theyre notin range. ive done at least 1,000 runs and without a partner, i usually get blues, and purples. With a partner, its more golds. But mainly, the best part of leeching, is to get free exp. -Crossfire XIV
10:39, 4 January 2009 (EST)
- Im just letting you know, there is no advantage to having leechers. You may think there is, but there isnt. This discussion is over, take it to Rata Sum since there are at least 5000 arguments about this a day. ---
Ressmonkey (talk) 13:21, 4 January 2009 (EST)
- Only money and shitty mcwhiteitems are increased. --Ojamo (>.<(O=(- -Q) 13:25, 4 January 2009 (EST)
- But people who arent within radar range receive no drops. So loot scaling probably applies to the number of people within radar range of the drop. So, if you really are getting around loot scaling, you should see a HUGE (300% at least) increase in non-gold drops, which I doubt you are. If you see an increase in gold items or something along the lines of 50% increase in drops, its random chance. ---
Ressmonkey (talk) 13:42, 4 January 2009 (EST)
- Well it cant hurt to have leechers. I only take my friends for free Asura.-Crossfire XIV
22:14, 5 January 2009 (EST)
- They can rezone for you=faster run
- Smart people know how to do that without leechers. ---

[edit] Mantra of Resolve Nerf
MoR reduced to 5 second duration.. wonder if this build will still be viable.
- Build probably isnt viable. But it doesnt matter because everybody runs W/N if theyre decent because its just better. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 00:23, September 18, 2009 (UTC)
