This build is part of the current PvE meta. Remove this tag if it is no longer used in the current PvE meta.

This is a Hero Necromancer set-up designed to handle extreme pressure, notably in Hard Mode. It has been successfully used for Vanquishing and acquiring Protector titles with much ease and minimal hero micro-managing.

Curses 14 Spiteful Spirit Elite Hex Spell For 19 seconds, whenever target foe attacks or uses a skill, Spiteful Spirit deals 33 shadow damage to that foe and all adjacent allies of that foe. 10 2 15 Barbs Core Necromancer. Curses 14 Barbs Hex Spell For 30 seconds, target foe takes 14 more damage when hit by physical damage. 5 2 10 Optional Core No Profession. Unlinked Optional Optional Optional. Enfeebling Blood Core Necromancer. Curses 14 Enfeebling Blood Spell Target foe and all nearby foes suffer from Weakness for 19 seconds. 8 1 1 Splinter Weapon Factions Ritualist. Channeling Magic 10 Splinter Weapon Weapon Spell For 20 seconds, target ally has a Splinter Weapon. Target ally's next 4 attacks deal 35 damage to up to 3 adjacent foes. 5 1 5 Rip Enchantment Nightfall Necromancer. Curses 14 Rip Enchantment Spell Remove 1 enchantment from target foe. If an enchantment was removed, that foe suffers from Bleeding for 24 seconds. 10 1 5 Signet of Lost Souls Nightfall Necromancer. Soul Reaping 9 Signet of Lost Souls Signet If target foe is below 50% Health, you gain 64 Health and 6 Energy. 8 ¼ Death Pact Signet Nightfall Ritualist. Restoration Magic 2 Death Pact Signet Signet Resurrect target party member with your current Health and 26% Energy. The next time that ally dies within 120 seconds, so do you. 12 3 Template code

Restoration Magic 12 Weapon of Warding Weapon Spell For 9 seconds, target ally has a Weapon of Warding, granting that ally +4 Health regeneration and a 50% chance to block. Weapon of Warding ends if that ally attacks. 5 1 10 Mend Body and Soul Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 12 Mend Body and Soul Spell Target ally is healed for 96 Health. That ally loses one Condition for all Spirits within earshot. 3 ¾ 5 Spirit Light Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 12 Spirit Light Spell Target ally is healed for 156. If any Spirits are within earshot, you don't sacrifice Health. 4 1 5 Protective Was Kaolai Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 12 Protective Was Kaolai Item Spell Hold Kaolai's ashes for up to 51 seconds. While you hold his ashes, you gain 24 armor. When you drop his ashes, all party members are healed for 70 Health. 25 1 10 Life Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 12 Life Binding Ritual Create a level 8 Spirit with 160 Health and 50 armor. When this Spirit dies, all non-Spirit allies within its range are healed for 6 Health for each second this Spirit was alive. This Spirit dies after 20 seconds. 20 3 10 Foul Feast EotN Necromancer. Soul Reaping 14 Foul Feast Spell All conditions are transferred from target other ally to yourself. • A Second Copy of Splinter Weapon instead of Foul Feast or Weapon of Warding if less defense is needed. Decrease Soul Reaping, putting the attribute points in to Channeling Magic.
• Replace Foul Feast with Signet of Lost Souls if less condition removal is needed, or if using Foul Feast in MM variant.

• If there aren't any corpses available, trade this hero for one carrying Spiteful Spirit or Spoil Victor.
• Bring Cure Hex for some hex removal.

[edit] Usage

• Call a target so all necros lock onto it.
• The SS necro will start putting hexes on, while the MM will accumulate minions to do damage through Barbs and Death Nova
• Vanquish the mission/area while repeating the previous steps.

[edit] Notes

• The flaws in this build are its susceptibility to interrupt and its lack of hex removal. Having hex removal, interrupt(s), and Pain Inverter is suggested for the other players.
