This is a common HB build used by high ranked players to easily cap and snare foes into submission. It is very effective against the current Metagame, and each hero can survive by themselves easily.

Mind Freeze Elementalist
Core Warrior. Tactics Balanced Stance Stance For 8..18..21 seconds, you cannot be knocked down and you do not suffer extra damage from a critical attack. Core Elementalist. Water Magic 14 Mind Freeze Elite Hex Spell Target foe suffers 38 cold damage. If you have more Energy than target foe, that foe suffers an additional 38 cold damage and moves 90% slower for 9 seconds. This Spell causes Exhaustion. Prophecies Elementalist. Water Magic 14 Ice Prison Hex Spell For 19 seconds, target foe's legs are encased in ice, causing the foe to move 66% slower. This effect ends if target takes fire damage. EotN Elementalist. Fire Magic 3 Glyph of Immolation Glyph For 15 seconds, your next 2 Spells that target a foe also cause Burning for 2 seconds. Nightfall Elementalist. Water Magic 14 Freezing Gust Hex Spell If target foe is under the effect of a Water Magic Hex, that foe is struck for 76 cold damage. Otherwise, that foe moves 66% slower for 6 seconds. Nightfall Elementalist. Water Magic 14 Steam Spell Target foe is struck for 47 cold damage. If target foe is on fire, Steam Blinds that foe for 10 seconds. Prophecies Elementalist. Water Magic 14 Armor of Mist Enchantment Spell For 19 seconds, you gain +38 armor and move 33% faster. Core Warrior. Strength 0 Shield Bash Skill For 5 seconds, while wielding a shield, the next attack skill used against you is blocked. If it was a melee skill, your attacker is knocked down and that skill is disabled for an additional 15 seconds. |

- Full Survivor + Vitae and +50hp rune
- Spear with +30hp, +5 Energy and anything EXCEPT Fiery.
- Shield with +30hp, -5 20%
- Use Mind Freeze on foes to snare them.
- Use Ice Prison on foes for an extended snare (make sure they are out of the monk's range.
- Use GoI whenever possible.
- Use Steam on Melee foes, or if you are with Xandra/Razah, for some extra damage to kill foes.
- Use Armor of Mist regularly to run faster and use it while enemies spike you (its +40 armor bonus halves armor-dependent damage).
- Use Disciplined Stance or Shield Bash when being spiked by Assassins.

- Replace Disciplined stance with Shield Bash, for it isn't affected by Rigor Mortis.
- Replace Ice Prison with Shard Storm for some damage and a more spammable snare.
- Replace Mind Freeze with Icy Shackles if you cannot handle the exhaustion.
- Blurred Vision can reduce the power of R/P with pets.

Nightfall Assassin. Unlinked Shadow Meld Elite Enchantment Spell Shadow Step to target other ally. When you stop maintaining this Enchantment, you return to your original location. Factions Assassin. Unlinked Recall Enchantment Spell While you maintain Recall, nothing happens. When Recall ends, you Shadow Step to the ally you targeted when you activated this skill and all of your skills are disabled for 10 seconds. Nightfall Dervish. Earth Prayers 13 Mystic Regeneration Enchantment Spell For 18 seconds, you have +4 Health regeneration for each enchantment (maximum of 3) on you. Nightfall Dervish. Mysticism 13 Watchful Intervention Enchantment Spell For 60 seconds, the next time target ally's Health drops below 25%, that ally is healed for 180 Health. Nightfall Dervish. Earth Prayers 13 Mirage Cloak Enchantment Spell For 10 seconds, you have a 50% chance to block incoming attacks. When this Enchantment ends, all nearby foes are struck for 67 earth damage. Factions Assassin. Deadly Arts Expunge Enchantments Skill Target foe loses 1 Enchantment. All of your other non-attack skills are disabled for 10..6..5 seconds. For each skill disabled in this way, target touched foe loses 1 additional Enchantment. Factions Assassin. Shadow Arts 6 Dark Escape Stance For 9 seconds, you move 25% faster and take half damage. Dark Escape ends if you successfully hit with an attack. Nightfall Dervish. Mysticism 13 Imbue Health Spell Target other ally is healed for 44% of your current Health (maximum 300 Health). |

Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 14 Preservation Elite Binding Ritual Create a level 1..14 Spirit. Every 4 seconds, this Spirit heals one non-Spirit ally in the area for 10..115 Health. This Spirit dies after 90 seconds. Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 14 Resilient Weapon Weapon Spell For 14(+2.5) seconds, target ally has a Resilient Weapon. While suffering from a Hex or Condition, that ally gains +6 Health regeneration and +24 armor. Factions Assassin. Unlinked Recall Enchantment Spell While you maintain Recall, nothing happens. When Recall ends, you Shadow Step to the ally you targeted when you activated this skill and all of your skills are disabled for 10 seconds. Factions Assassin. Shadow Arts Dark Escape Stance For 5..13..16 seconds, you move 25% faster and take half damage. Dark Escape ends if you successfully hit with an attack. Factions Ritualist. Channeling Magic 11 Bloodsong Binding Ritual Create a level 9 Spirit with 180 (+65) Health and 56 armor who dies after 118 seconds. Attacks by that Spirit steal up to 20 Health. Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 14 Mend Body and Soul Spell Target ally is healed for 109 Health. That ally loses one Condition for all Spirits within earshot. Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 14 Spirit Light Spell Target ally is healed for 172. If any Spirits are within earshot, you don't sacrifice Health. Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 14 Blind Was Mingson Item Spell Hold Mingson's ashes for up to 57 seconds. When you drop his ashes, all nearby foes are Blinded for 8 seconds. |

Target ally gets healed for 32 Health. EotN Monk. Healing Prayers 14 Cure Hex Spell Remove one Hex from target ally. If a Hex was removed, that ally is healed for 114 Health. Target ally gets healed for 32 Health. Core Monk. Divine Favor 10 Divine Intervention Enchantment Spell For 10 seconds, the next time target ally receives damage that would be fatal, the damage is negated and that ally is healed for 169 Health. Target ally gets healed for 32 Health. Core Monk. Protection Prayers 3 Mend Ailment Spell Remove one Condition from target ally. For each remaining Condition, that ally is healed for 18 Health. Target ally gets healed for 32 Health. Factions Monk. Healing Prayers 14 Signet of Rejuvenation Signet Heal target ally for 71. If target ally is casting a spell or attacking, that ally is healed for an additional 71 Health. Core Warrior.
