This build uses the Ranger elite skill Incendiary Arrows for lots of AoE damage.

Ranger / No profession 8 + 1 Expertise 11 + 1 + 1 Marksmanship 11 + 1 Wilderness Survival Incendiary Arrows Prophecies Ranger. Wilderness Survival 12 Incendiary Arrows Elite Preparation Shoot arrows at target foe and up to 2 foes near your target. Those foes are set on fire for 3 seconds. 5 3 Savage Shot Core Ranger. Marksmanship 13 Savage Shot Bow Attack If Savage Shot hits, your target's action is interrupted. If that action was a Spell, you strike for +26 damage. 5 ½ 6 Distracting Shot Core Ranger. Expertise 9 Distracting Shot Bow Attack If Distracting Shot hits, it interrupts target foe's action but deals only 10 damage. If the interrupted action was a skill, that skill is disabled for an additional 20 seconds. 10 ½ 3 Dual Shot Core Ranger. Unlinked Dual Shot Bow Attack Shoot two arrows simultaneously at target foe. These arrows deal 25% less damage. 10 6 Ignite Arrows Prophecies Ranger. Wilderness Survival 12 Ignite Arrows Preparation For 24 seconds, your arrows explode on contact, dealing 15 fire damage to target and all adjacent foes. 12 2 6 Lightning Reflexes Core Ranger. • Any armor will do, survivor's prefered.

• Spread Burning with Incendiary Arrows.
• Interrupt skills with Savage Shot and Distracting Shot.
• Maintain Ignite Arrows for AoE damage.
• Lightning Reflexes for self-defense and IAS when needed.
• Dual Shot for single-target damage.
• Bring back a party member with Resurrection Signet.

• Immunity to Burning makes Incendiary Arrows pointless.
  • Destroyers are the bane of this build.
• Other physical counters.

[edit] Variants

• Skills that augment damage such as Ebon Battle Standard of Honor and "I Am The Strongest!".
• Triple Shot either in place of or in addition to Dual Shot.
• Dwarven Stability.
  • Serpent's Quickness can reduce the recharge of IA for more damage.
• Quickening Zephyr can reduce the recharge of IA for more damage; check with your teammates before using this.
