This build uses the basics of an Elementalist Earth Tank setup to farm the Gates of Kryta in Hard Mode.

Ranger / Elementalist 5 + 1 + 1 Expertise 11 + 1 Wilderness Survival 4 Air Magic 12 Earth Magic Kinetic Armor Prophecies Elementalist. Earth Magic 12 Kinetic Armor Enchantment Spell For 8 seconds, you gain +68 armor. Whenever you cast a Spell, Kinetic Armor is renewed for 8 seconds. 60 3 15 Stone Striker Nightfall Elementalist. Earth Magic 12 Stone Striker Enchantment Spell For 25 seconds, whenever you take or deal elemental or physical damage, that damage is converted to earth damage. 20 ¼ 5 Glyph of Swiftness EotN Elementalist. Air Magic 4 Glyph of Swiftness Glyph For 15 seconds, your next 2 Spells recharge 25% faster, and projectiles from those spells move 200% faster. 10 1 5 Stoneflesh Aura Nightfall Elementalist. Earth Magic 12 Stoneflesh Aura Enchantment Spell For 13 seconds, damage you receive is reduced by 25, and you are immune to critical attacks. 15 2 10 Sliver Armor Factions Elementalist. Earth Magic 12 Sliver Armor Enchantment Spell For 10 seconds, you have 45% chance to block attacks and whenever you are the target of a hostile Spell or attack one nearby foe is struck for 29 earth damage. 30 1 10 Light of Deldrimor EotN No Profession. Deldrimor rank Light of Deldrimor Spell All foes in the area are struck for 55..80 holy damage. The location of hidden objects are briefly indicated on your Compass. Any hidden objects in the area are revealed. 20 ¾ 5 Melandru's Resilience Prophecies Ranger. Wilderness Survival 12 Melandru's Resilience Elite Stance For 18 seconds, you gain +4 Health regeneration and +1 Energy regeneration for each Condition and Hex you are suffering. 15 4 Storm Chaser Core Ranger. Wilderness Survival 12 Storm Chaser Stance For 18 seconds, you move 25% faster, and you gain 4 Energy whenever you take elemental damage. 20 7 Template code

• Full Earthbound Insignia
• A one-handed weapon with +20% Enchant and +5 energy.
• A shield with Health +45 (stance/enchanted) and Armor +10 vs. Earth

[edit] Usage

• Maintain Stone Striker,Stoneflesh Aura and Melandru's Resilience.
• Use Storm Chaser when no condition/hex-using opponents are left for energy gain per hit.
• Maintain Kinetic Armor.
• Use Glyph of Swiftness before each Stoneflesh cast. Use the remaining charge on the glyph for Sliver Armor or Light of Deldrimor, whichever happens to be recharged. Be careful not to use both charges from one glyph on the damage spells, or you won't be able to maintain Stoneflesh.

• If you are comfortable with maintaining Stoneflesh Aura, you can drop Kinetic Armor for Ebon Battle Standard of Honor to speed up the farm.

[edit] Locations

• Gates of Kryta HM
  • It is advised to kill skeleton rangers and grasping ghouls before the other enemies. The rangers are difficult to defeat when by themselves, and the graspings will take a while due to their crippling+"Victory is Mine!" combo.
  • If a caster boss spawns at the nearest boss point, this build can farm it.
  • The ranger boss will kill you by inflicting daze. Do not approach him.
• Nebo Terrace HM - from Bergen Hot Springs
  • Bring Troll Unguent in place of Kinetic Armor for the all-ranger groups.
• Xaquang Skyway NM - Vermin
  • Bring Ward of Stability and "I am Unstoppable!" (to cover the ward's downtime) in place of Kinetic Armor and Light of Deldrimor.
  • Alternate between Storm Chaser and Melandru's Resilience depending on your need for health or energy.
