A Mesmer for Arena use, utilizing Power Block for an extremely offensive Interrupt, along with powerful energy denial/management and good support with blocking and party-wide condition removal.

Mesmer / Ritualist 8 + 1 Fast Casting 11 + 1 + 1 Domination Magic 9 + 1 Inspiration Magic 8 Restoration Magic Power Block Prophecies Mesmer. Domination Magic 13 Power Block Elite Spell If target foe is casting a Spell or Chant, that Skill is interrupted. The interrupted Skill and all Skills of the same attribute are disabled for 13 seconds for that foe. 20 0.2 15 Ether Phantom Nightfall Mesmer. Inspiration Magic 10 Ether Phantom Hex Spell For 10 seconds, target foe has -1 Energy degeneration. If this Hex is removed prematurely, that foe loses 4 Energy. 10 0.7 5 Drain Delusions Nightfall Mesmer. Inspiration Magic 10 Drain Delusions Spell Remove one Mesmer Hex from target foe. If a Hex was removed in this way, that foe loses 4 Energy and you gain 2 Energy for each point lost. 10 0.2 5 Drain Enchantment Core Mesmer. Inspiration Magic 10 Drain Enchantment Spell Remove an Enchantment from target foe. If an Enchantment is removed, you gain 14 Energy and 93 Health. 20 1.3 5 Optional Core No Profession. Unlinked Optional Optional Optional. Weapon of Warding Factions Ritualist. Restoration Magic 8 Weapon of Warding Weapon Spell For 6 seconds, target ally has a Weapon of Warding, granting that ally +3 Health regeneration and a 50% chance to block. Weapon of Warding ends if that ally attacks. 5 0.7 10 Pure Was Li Ming EotN Ritualist. Restoration Magic 8 Pure Was Li Ming Item Spell Hold Li Ming's ashes for 13 seconds. While you hold her ashes, Conditions on you expire 31% faster. When you drop her ashes, all allies within earshot lose 3 Conditions. 20 0.7 10 Resurrection Signet Core No Profession. Unlinked Resurrection Signet Signet Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. This Signet only recharges when you gain a morale boost. 2.2 Template code

• Shatter Enchantment or Inspired Hex, depending on how much hex removal the team already has.

• 40/40 Domination, Inspiration and Restoration wand/offhand sets.
• A +5 energy spear of Fortitude.
• A set of +10 armor vs x shields of Fortitude.

[edit] Usage

• Use Power Block to shut down key targets such as Domination/Curses hexers or monks.
• Use Ether Phantom with Drain Delusions to manage energy as well as pressure the other team through energy denial.
• Use Drain Enchantment, and Shatter if you're taking it to remove enchantments as needed.
• If taking Inspired Hex, remove hexes from allies with it. If playing against opponents using useful hexes from your attribute lines such as Visions of Regret, try and remove those.
• Protect allies, especially your monk, against physical attacks with Weapon of Warding.
• Counter condition pressure with Pure Was Li Ming.
