A solo farm mesmers can do. This build is used to successfully farm raptors.

Mesmer / Elementalist 12 + 1 + 3 Illusion Magic 9 + 1 Fast Casting 9 + 1 Inspiration Magic Signet of Illusions Nightfall Mesmer. Illusion Magic 16 Signet of Illusions Elite Signet Your next 3 Spell uses your Illusion attribute instead of its normal attribute. 5 1.4 Armor of Earth Core Elementalist. Earth Magic 16 Armor of Earth Enchantment Spell For 30 seconds, you gain 62 armor, but move 12% slower. 15 0.5 10 Stoneflesh Aura Nightfall Elementalist. Earth Magic 16 Stoneflesh Aura Enchantment Spell For 16 seconds, damage you receive is reduced by 33, and you are immune to critical attacks. 15 1.3 10 Mental Block EotN No Profession. Asura rank Mental Block Enchantment Spell For 5..11 seconds you have a 50% chance to block attacks. This Enchantment is reapplied every time an enemy strikes you. 15 0.6 10 Sliver Armor Factions Elementalist. Earth Magic 16 Sliver Armor Enchantment Spell For 11 seconds, you have 52% chance to block attacks and whenever you are the target of a hostile Spell or attack one nearby foe is struck for 37 earth damage. 30 0.6 10 Grasping Earth Prophecies Elementalist. Earth Magic 16 Grasping Earth Hex Spell For 21 seconds, all nearby foes move 50% slower. 12 0.5 5 Channeling Prophecies Mesmer. Inspiration Magic 10 Channeling Enchantment Spell For 40 seconds, whenever you cast a Spell, you gain 1 Energy for each foe in the area. 15 0.6 5 Mantra of Resolve Core Mesmer. Inspiration Magic 10 Mantra of Resolve Stance For 70 seconds, you cannot be interrupted, but each time you would have been interrupted, you lose 6 Energy or Mantra of Resolve ends. 20 10 Template code

You can replace Mental Block and/or Grasping Earth with AoS and/or EBSoH.

• Max armor, with Blessed insignias.
• 20% enchant weapon.

[edit] Usage

Always have Signet of Illusions on!

• Enter Riven Earth from Rata Sum and get the blessing.
• Make your way quickly to the cave avoiding the regular raptors.
• Cast Signet of Illusions followed by Stoneflesh Aura, Armor of Earth, Channeling and Mantra of Resolve, then aggro ALL the raptors, leaving the broodmother group last.
• After all the other hatchlings are collected, aggro the broodmother's group.
• Immediately before the Rekoff, cast Mental Block.
• When all of the raptors are fighting you, cast Grasping Earth and then Sliver Armor.
• After Rekoff is dead recast Sliver Armor, to kill off the few remaining raptors.
• Pick up the loot and resign.
• You will now be standing at the portal.

[edit] Counters

• Not maintaining Stoneflesh Aura and Armor of Earth.
• Too many interrupts at one time so you lose Mantra of Resolve and therefore, you are dead.
• Fighting regular raptors.
