The Me/D Mystic IW is a PvP build that uses Illusionary Weaponry to deal armor ignoring damage coupled with Dervish Earth and Wind prayers for increased attack rate and protection. High health regeneration and deterants from Earth Prayers defend the IW Mesmer, while Wind Prayers allow the mesmer to attack 25% faster with a Sword or Axe and quickly heal.

Illusion Magic 16 Illusionary Weaponry Elite Enchantment Spell For 30 seconds, you deal no damage in melee, but whenever you attack in melee, target foe takes 42 damage. 25 0.9 5 Whirling Charge Nightfall Dervish. Wind Prayers 10 Whirling Charge Stance For 11 seconds, you move and attack 25% faster than normal. This Stance ends if you are not under the effects of any Enchantments. 20 10 Dwayna's Touch Nightfall Dervish. Wind Prayers 10 Dwayna's Touch Spell Target touched ally is healed for 45 Health for each Enchantment on you (maximum 150). 2 0.7 5 Veil of Thorns Nightfall Dervish. Earth Prayers 8 Veil of Thorns Enchantment Spell For 13 seconds, whenever you are hit by an attack, your attacker is Crippled for 10 seconds. 20 0.9 10 Armor of Sanctity Nightfall Dervish. Earth Prayers 8 Armor of Sanctity Enchantment Spell For 10 seconds, you take 13 less damage from foes suffering from a Condition. 5 0.2 5 Mystic Regeneration Nightfall Dervish. Earth Prayers 8 Mystic Regeneration Enchantment Spell For 13 seconds, you have +3 Health regeneration for each enchantment (maximum of 3) on you. 12 0.2 10 Illusion of Weakness Prophecies Mesmer. Illusion Magic 16 Illusion of Weakness Enchantment Spell You lose 253 Health. Illusion of Weakness ends if damage drops your Health below 25% of your maximum. When Illusion of Weakness ends, you gain 253 Health. 30 1.8 10 Resurrection Signet Core No Profession. Unlinked Resurrection Signet Signet Resurrect target party member. • Casting Illusion of Weakness at the start.
• Before attacking, cast Illusionary Weaponry and Mystic Regeneration. Maintain these enchantments.
• Heal with Dwayna's Touch.
• When near to target, enter the Whirling Charge stance.
• Use Veil of Thorns and Armor of Sanctity to deter attackers and boost defenses when under attack.

• Armor of Sanctity can be replaced by Sympathetic Visage
• Veil of Thorns or Armor of Sanctity can be replaced by Aura of Thorns to cripple your target
• Lyssa's Haste can be useful to boost speed and help energy management
• Distortion can be used during the Whirling Charge cooldown time to help against melee.
