This build uses Searing Flames to farm the first wave in the Stygian Veil.

Core Elementalist. Fire Magic 16 Fire Attunement Enchantment Spell For 62 seconds, you are attuned to Fire. You gain 1 Energy plus 30% of the base Energy cost of the Skill each time you use Fire Magic. Prophecies Elementalist. Fire Magic 16 Mark of Rodgort Hex Spell Target foe and all nearby foes are Hexed with Mark of Rodgort. For 37 seconds, whenever each foe is struck for fire damage, that foe is set on fire for 4 seconds. Nightfall Elementalist. Fire Magic 16 Searing Flames Elite Spell Target foe and all nearby foes are struck with Searing Flames. Foes already on fire when this Skill is cast are struck for 106 fire damage. Foes not already on fire begin Burning for 7 seconds. Core Elementalist. Energy Storage 9 Glyph of Lesser Energy Glyph For the next 15 seconds, your next 2 Spells cost 15 less Energy to cast. Nightfall No Profession. Lightbringer rank Lightbringer Signet Signet If you are within the area of a demonic servant of Abaddon, you gain 3..5 strikes of adrenaline and 16..24 Energy. EotN No Profession. Deldrimor rank Drunken Master Stance For 72..90 seconds, your movement and attack speeds are increased by 10..15%. If you are drunk while activating this Skill, your movement and attack speeds are increased by 25..33% instead. Nightfall Paragon. Command 10 "Fall Back!" Shout For 8 seconds, all allies within earshot gain 12 Health per second while moving and move 33% faster. "Fall Back!" ends on an ally affected by this Shout when that ally successfully hits with an attack. Nightfall Paragon. Command 10 "Can't Touch This!" Shout For 20 seconds, the next 4 touch Skills used against you fail. |
[edit] Equipment
- Radiant insignias and a 40/40 fire set are preferred.
- Activate your Lightbringer title for bonus damage and enter Stygian Veil.
- Use Drunken Master and "Fall Back!" to get to the NPCs faster and take the quest and the hunt.
- Move off to the northeast and wait for the Stygian Hungers to appear stop moving in front of the NPCs.
- Use Fire Attunement and Activate Drunken Master and "Cant Touch This!". You may want to use "Fall Back!" if your Deldrimor rank is low.
- Aggro the Hungers and run in between the two NPCs, starting from closer to the Hungers and moving away from them.
- Then position yourself directly behind the Adept of Whispers without moving very far away from either NPC.
- Wait there until all the Hungers are blocked by the Adept of Whispers.
- If any enemies begin to attack you or use touch skills on you, but are still blocked by the Adept of Whispers, take baby steps to the left, right, or back to try and avoid getting hit.
- If any enemies move around the NPCs, run away and wait until the Hungers are no longer enchanted to try again.
- Once you have a stable aggro, use Searing Flames then Mark of Rodgort on one target. You will need to reapply Mark of Rodgort once.
- Begin spamming searing flames until all the Hungers are dead using GoLE and Lightbringer Signet for energy as needed.
- Collect drops and repeat.

- Use Flame Djinn's Haste in place Drunken Master for some damage and an alternative speed boost.

- Place NR where it will affect all enemies and do the same pulling. NR will give you a needed .66 seconds of extra time for aggro.
- Pulling can be very difficult. It requires a lot of practice to get it right, but it is doable.
- Can be done in HM, but is more difficult.
