This Turret Ranger makes use of the popular Ranger Elite Melandru's Shot, with High Damage, Cripple and a quick activation it serves many purposes and means an IAS isn't necessary.

• [[Remove Hex] for hex removal.
• [[Whirling Defense@14] for a long lasting block stance (great on splits).

Equipment

• Weapons:
  • A Spear with +5 energy/+30 health and a Shield with +30 health/+10 armor vs x damage type.
  • A Vampiric/Zealous Hornbow of Fortitude (15^50).
  • A Vampiric/Zealous Flatbow of Fortitude (15^50).
  • A Crippling Hornbow/Flatbow of Fortitude (15^50).
• Armor:
  • Survivor Insignias, a Rune of Superior Vigor and Runes of Vitae.

Usage

• Maintain Read the Wind.
• Use Lightning Reflexes to provide Anti-Spike blocking, it can also be used as an IAS (before Morale Boosts mostly).
• Use Melandru's Shot -> Hunter's Shot -> Savage Shot to spike.
• Interrupt with Savage Shot and Distracting Shot.
• Snare opponents with Melandru's Shot.
• Use your optional as necessary.
• Resurrect fallen party members with Resurrection Signet.

Counters

• Blind, Blocking, anti-ranged Hexes.

Variants

• Death Pact Signet or Flesh of My Flesh for a hard res.
• Drop your res sig if you feel you will be splitting often.
• Move Mel's Shot to slot 2, then put Sloth Hunter's Shot or Keen Arrow in slot 1.
